Spectral Ultrasound is a general ultrasound service and offers a large array of ultrasound scans including:

  • Abdominal

    - Gallbladder, pancreas, liver and spleen.

  • Abdominal Wall

  • Pelvic

  • Groin

    - Inguinal hernia assessment.

  • Obstetric

    - Dating scans, morphology (20 week scans) and growth scans (3rd trimester scans).

  • Vascular

    -Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) ultrasounds, carotid, arterial and venous upper and lower limb studies and abdominal aorta studies.

  • Musculoskeletal

    - Shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee ankle, feet and hands. Other soft tissue structures.

  • Renal

  • Thyroid

  • Breast

  • Testes

Please Note: Spectral Ultrasound does not offer obstetric nuchal scan ultrasounds.

Medicare card holders:

Most ultrasound scans are a standard 30 minute scan and will incur a $55 out of pocket expense.

60 minute ultrasound scans incur a $90 out of pocket expense. 60 minute ultrasounds include obstetric morphology scans and bilateral arterial or venous legs or arms. Please phone to discuss details if you are unsure.

Age pensioner concession card holders will be bulk billed.
